How It Works

Create a link

From the Quickei app (User or Merchant), create a payment request, bill split, or payment link.

Share it

Share the link via WhatsApp, email, SMS, or any channel. The link includes Open Graph metadata for rich previews when shared on social media.

Recipient pays

The recipient opens the link in any browser. They can pay via the Quickei app (QR scan) or via the hosted payment page. No account required for card payments.

Confirmation

Both parties receive a confirmation. The payment status updates in real-time.

Payment Methods

Depending on the link type and merchant configuration, payers can use:

All payment links support:
  • Open Graph tags — Rich previews on WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Slack
  • Apple Universal Links — Opens directly in the Quickei iOS app if installed
  • Android App Links — Opens directly in the Quickei Android app if installed
  • Fallback — If the app isn’t installed, the web payment page opens in the browser

Tontine (ROSCA)

Quickei also supports Tontine (Rotating Savings and Credit Association) links:

Participants join a tontine group and contribute on a rotating schedule. The link shows the tontine details, contribution amount, and schedule.
